Olivia Rodrigo’s dating life has been inextricably linked with her career since the release of her debut album, “Sour,” in 2021.
The Grammy winner further delved into her romantic escapades with her subsequent albums — 2023’s “Guts” and 2026’s “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.”
Rodrigo, whose song lyrics deal predominantly with relationships and heartbreak, often uses her real-life romances as inspiration for her music, first with her rumored fling with “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” co-star Joshua Bassett and most recently her split with “Enola Holmes” actor Louis Partridge.
“Drivers License” was about Bassett ending their romance to date fellow Disney star Sabrina Carpenter.
The supposed love triangle quickly blew up, making international headlines and catapulting Rodrigo to pop superstardom.
Bassett broke his silence on the rumors in December 2021, revealing Rodrigo had not “spoken to” him since her debut single dropped that January.
“[Everyone] is asking me about Sabrina and Olivia,” the “Lie Lie Lie” singer, who confirmed he’s part of the LGBTQIA+ community, told GQ at the time.
“Why don’t we focus on these women for who they are? Let’s focus on the art that they’re making and how great they are instead of their relationship to a boy.”
He also described the online bullying he faced over the track, telling the outlet, “I would see TikToks with like 50 million views and 10 million ‘likes’ saying, ‘If I ever see that kid on the street, I’m going to f—king kill him.’ It’s hard to see that and then be living in New York and walking down the street.”
Bassett hit back at Rodrigo on his 2021 track “Crisis.”
“If you get to tell your truth / Then so do / And it’s cool if you want me to play the bad guy,” Bassett sings.
The lyrics continue: “Half the s–t you’re saying’s only half true / Messing with my life as a career move / I can’t help but wonder why you won’t make it end.”
“I wish that I could open my eyes and the nightmare be over / But you sensationalize, keep fanning the fire for the headlines,” he sings.
However, it seems the former co-stars are now on good terms, posing together on the red carpet in July 2022.
Page Six was the first to report that the “Vampire” singer moved on with Hollywood producer Adam Faze in July 2021.
The pair were spotted together for the first time at the “Space Jam: A New Legacy” premiere party at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.
Sources told us the “Brutal” hitmaker and the Must B Nice production company co-founder were friends before things turned romantic.
They were seen packing on the PDA in the middle of a street that November, but sparked split rumors less than two months later when Rodrigo unfollowed Faze on Instagram.
She also hinted at a breakup during an interview with British Vogue, in which she discussed the “best way to get over someone.”
“Besides cutting off all contact, I think it’s important to not only forgive them, but forgive yourself for letting everything happen,” she answered. “That’s what I’ve learned.”
They called it quits for good in February 2022.
Rodrigo fueled romance rumors with promoter-turned-DJ Zack Bia in early 2022.
The music producer, who had previously dated a slew of high-profile women, put his arm around the former Disney star during their first public outing at Manhattan hot spot Bar Pitti in April.
“They’ve been dating since the Super Bowl,” an insider told People at the time, confirming initial speculation that they were spending time together in February 2022.
“They really like each other,” the source added.
A separate source told E! News that the duo were having “a lot of fun” together.
“Zack [feels] that Olivia is really down to earth and he loves how low-key she is,” the insider explained. “It’s a good balance between them … They hit it off and have been casually hanging out.”
Rodrigo and Bia — who previously dated singer Madison Beer and actress Madelyn Cline — weren’t spotted together for several months after their relationship was confirmed, and the romance reportedly fizzled out by August.
Rodrigo was first linked to actor Louis Partridge in October 2023 after being spotted celebrating Halloween together in London.
As seen in pictures posted by Pop Base on X, the pair was cozied up together as they walked down the street.
“They met through mutual pals earlier in the year and have been messaging quite a bit,” an insider told the Sun at the time.
The source called them “inseparable.”
After making out in NYC at the end of 2023, Rodrigo and Partridge made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Venice Film Festival in Italy, before turning the 2025 Grammys into a date night.
However, the two called it quits in December 2025 after two years of dating.
“It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now,” a source told the Sun at the time. “Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”
Rodrigo was spotted on a date with Geese frontman Cameron Winter in April 2026, but it appears that fizzled out fast.
Rodrigo appears to be switching things up in terms of her usual type — trading in the Hollywood heartthrobs for a Wall Street player for her latest relationship.
The “Stupid Song” singer has been spotted around Brooklyn several times with Julian Croonenberghs, Page Six reported in July 2026.
On July 20, photos surfaced online of the pair seemingly at an airport while traveling from Iceland to New York.
Fans were quick to identify the man with Rodrigo as Croonenberghs.
According to his LinkedIn, Croonenberghs works for the private equity firm Hg Capital, graduated from Brown University after studying applied mathematics and computer science.
He also played on the U.S. Men’s National Field Hockey Team from 2018 to 2020, was previously a banking analyst at Goldman Sachs and speaks both Dutch and French.
