Prince William is reportedly annoyed following reports that his estranged brother, Prince Harry, has plans to make a movie about their late mother, Princess Diana.
This comes after the Duke of Sussex relocated back to the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Despite Harry and Meghan’s return to Britain, Prince William is said to be keeping his distance from the couple, refusing to acknowledge their presence in the country.
5On Thursday, a Daily Mail report claimed that one of the major reasons Harry moved back to the UK with his wife and kids was because he had plans to make a film about his mother, Princess Diana.
According to Richard Kay, the publication’s Senior Editor-at-large, Harry “has been reaching out to his friends and others who knew Diana, and asking them to contribute.”
Kay continued, “Let’s not forget who Harry spent time with when he was here in July; it was Diana’s family at Althorp.”
The royal expert further shared that the alleged film project, which is expected to “occupy a lot of [Harry’s] headspace over the next 12 months,” has left the duke’s older brother, William, dealing with “intense frustration.”

He said, “William is just as much his mother’s son as Harry is, and Harry has tried to claim the Diana legacy for himself, to William’s intense frustration.”
“He does not bang on about his mother all the time, though he has at several points,” Kay noted about the difference between William and Harry when it comes to the topic of Diana.
The expert added, “This issue of trying to use Diana, the Spencer brand, the Spencer name, to divide himself away from the House of Windsor, I think is something we’re going to see even more of.”
