It seems to be the season of royal return, as Sarah Ferguson is making her way back home to the United Kingdom.
The Duchess of York was seemingly faced with exile from the Royal family alongside her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after their ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were exposed on a grand scale.
The pair were stripped of their royal titles and residence, leaving Ferguson without a place of her own, but it seems the tide has now turned in her favor.
5Months after staying mostly away from the public eye and being “low-key,” Ferguson popped out of the woods to settle back down in Britain.
The duchess touched down in her home country on Friday and is said to have found a six-bedroom property which goes for £10,000 ($8,000) a month in rent.
The gated home, which comes off as modest compared with the palace grounds she formerly lived in, is said to be in the Home Counties around London, according to The Sun.
Ferguson was away from the UK for about months. However, a source confirmed to the publication that her comeback had been in the works for a long time. “She’s had her eyes on a return for some time, but it takes time to find the right new house,” said the insider.

5Fans may recall that the Duchess of York was kicked out of Royal Lodge in February alongside her ex-husband after his arrest on accusations of his associations with Epstein.
For Ferguson, who was last seen in the UK earlier this year, her living situation changed drastically as she had to fend for herself in terms of accommodation, something she hasn’t done in decades.
“Now’s the right time to get back to her life,” explained the source. “With everyone looking out for Harry and Meghan, she thought she could slip back under the radar after seven months away.”
Moving in will reportedly be swift for the children’s book author as vans have been spotted at Andrew’s home to pick up her belongings.

5Ferguson fell from grace last October when King Charles stripped her of her Duchess of York title following her links to the disgraced financier.
However, it wasn’t until June 2026 that emails were uncovered revealing the extent of their relationship. As The Blast reported, the unearthed exchanges resurfaced, proving that Ferguson met with Epstein at his Florida office more than twice in 2009.
At the time, he was in jail serving time for procuring a minor for prostitution. However, Epstein was allowed leave as part of a work-release program where he was supervised at the office.
In one email, Ferguson sought business advice from the financier, calling him a “great friend.”

5As for where Harry and Meghan will reside in the UK, no location has been confirmed yet. Sources say the duo is hunting for their British home.
According to The Blast, the Sussexes have their eyes on properties in the Cotswolds, choosing a countryside home to fulfill their needs.
However, their taste doesn’t come cheap, with homes in their purview going as high as £12 million (roughly $16 million).
