Brooke Hogan is not mincing words about how much she misses her WWE legend father!
One year has passed since the superstar wrestler shockingly died, and his daughter’s tribute is filled with memories from their time together, giving the public a glimpse into their dynamics as father and daughter.
Brooke Hogan’s dad, Hulk Hogan, died at the age of 71 from a heart attack at his home in Clearwater, Florida, and an investigation further confirmed that his death was due to natural causes related to pre-existing health conditions.
4The late wrestler’s daughter shared a touching tribute on her Instagram to mark the first anniversary of her father’s death. She expressed hope about existing with just her father in an alternate universe someday. Brooke wrote:
“Maybe…in another lifetime…in a parallel universe…another dimension… we’re together right now. Watching sunsets, belly laughing, you’re smacking my leg in the passenger seat to the beat of a Mother’s Finest song, we’re going to sushi just us.”
She continued that it is her dream to exist in a perfect space with her father, void of pain, worries, and all the responsibilities of this world that drain one of human connection and time. Brooke promised to find her father in every lifetime possible, as they have always done to each other.
“Though the rest of my life will feel like I have to live so long without you, hopefully it’s only seconds on your end till we’re together again. I’m right behind you, daddy,” the media personality declared.
Brooke’s tribute definitely tugged at several heartstrings as social media users trooped under her post with condolences and encouragement. One Instagram commenter reassured Brooke that Hulk’s spirit will live through her and his grandchildren.
“Your words are beautiful, and he loves you very much. I saw videos of you together, and you could see in his eyes how much he loved you, and yes, you will meet him again… another world, another place,” this fan added.
Another commenter recalled meeting Hulk in person and experiencing his generosity and kindness. Fans who have met him once or a couple of times in the past mostly had pleasant things to say about the wrestling legend, testifying to his warm personality and friendliness.
“I worked at Adventure Island in 1995- Ya’ll used to come in all the time, and your dad either held your hand or carried you on his shoulders,” another fan noted, bearing witness to Brooke and Hulk’s close relationship.

When asked to comment on the documentary, Brooke admitted to Page Six that she deliberately rejected the offer because she did not want to be seen with people she feels only came out for her dad’s sake.
Brooke claimed that she had seen people criticize Hulk in the past, only to embrace that name when television opportunities came along suddenly, and she wanted no part of that.
Meanwhile, Brooke’s estranged mother Linda Hogan and younger brother Nick Hogan showed up for the documentary, which covered the family’s journey to fame and was previously documented on VH1’s “Hogan Knows Best.”

4In another appearance on the Hollywood Raw podcast, Brooke also spoke about her exclusion from Hulk Hogan’s will back in 2023, two years prior to his passing in July 2025.
As stated by The Blast, she confessed that she regretted not making that decision, not for the inheritance, but because it denied her the opportunity to have a voice in the proceedings of the estate of her father.
Brooke explained that she had to remove herself from the will because she was concerned for her safety and the safety of her family. Seeing those who were present in her father’s inner circle, Brooke added that the deal was too much to take any price for and the situation became so unsettling that she felt she could not afford it.
Her latest comment marked a shift from her statement in September 2025, where she insisted she had no regrets about missing out on the largesse of her father’s wealth. Brooke stressed that she had built a life without relying on her father’s wealth and money was never her biggest motivation.
Instead, her greatest concern was ensuring her father’s estate, intellectual property, and trademarks would be managed responsibly, adding that what she had always wanted from him was more of his time, honesty, and love.

Brooke said she received conflicting information about blood testing, was not allowed to review the family’s private autopsy report, and questioned why her father’s death certificate was signed by his personal physician rather than a medical examiner.
As that went on, Nick Hogan chose to focus on bringing one of his father’s final ambitions to life by moving forward with Hulk’s multi-million-dollar Slam Sports Bar across from Madison Square Garden. Insisting that nothing would change his mind about the project, Nick explained that it carries a greater meaning as a way to honor his father’s vision.
Hospitality executive Rich Rosen also named Nick vice president of American Sports Bar Entertainment ahead of the venue’s planned grand opening.
